  • We specialize in offering a variety of somatic-based therapies including EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Bodywork, Parts Work, Mindfulness-Based therapy and more. We also offer traditional talk therapies including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Our therapists work collaboratively with you to determine the most suitable approach for your goals.

  • Rooted in eastern, indigenous and native healing practices, somatic therapies differ from traditional talk therapy in its unique focus on body sensations and movement in order to release emotions stored in the body. Somatic modalities are incredibly effective at helping you regain emotional balance and release physical tension related to emotional distress and trauma.

  • Your first therapy session, also known as an intake session, is an opportunity for you to discuss your concerns, goals, and any questions you may have. Your therapist will gather information about your background, current struggles, and previous experiences with therapy to develop a personalized treatment plan. This session is also a chance for you to determine if you feel comfortable working with your therapist.

  • The duration of therapy varies depending on your individual needs, goals, and progress. Some people may find relief in a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy. Your therapist will work with you to establish realistic expectations and regularly review your progress to ensure you're getting the most out of your sessions.

  • Yes, confidentiality is a fundamental aspect of therapy and something we take very seriously at our practice. Your therapist is legally and ethically bound to protect your privacy, and your sessions will remain confidential unless there's a risk of harm to yourself or others. Your therapist will discuss the limits of confidentiality with you during your first session.

  • Our self-pay fees vary depending on which therapist you see but ranges from $80/session to $150/session. We also accept a variety of insurance plans, and our administrative team can assist you in verifying your coverage before beginning any sessions.

  • We offer both in-person and teletherapy options to accommodate your preferences and needs. Teletherapy provides a convenient and flexible way to access therapy from the comfort of your own home. Our teletherapy services adhere to strict privacy and security standards to ensure your confidentiality. We do not offer therapy over the phone.
